Google Chrome vs Samsung browser...which do you prefer?

I switch between the two but use Chrome the most because I use the Google Assistant voice command for everything from sending texts to taking pictures. The Samsung browser is good for sites that have a lot of pop up ads as it has a built in ad blocker.

I use them both actually. In general I use Samsung more often though. Both have their pluses.

Generally I use Samsung Internet. In fact I'm using the DeX version to write this post. Chrome has its uses though. Occasionally I'll find a website which has certain functions that are only available via Chrome. Also, watching live video streams from certain podcasts that I follow seem to work better in Chrome. For example you can play the video in the background (allowing you to listen to the audio only), and you can minimize the app to get picture-in-picture video.

Can't be giving all my information to Google. Thought I'd share my love, been using Samsung browser exclusively for about 4 months.

Samsung's browser is the best! Ad blocking and night mode. I haven't used chrome for a while cause of all the pop up ads and more ads on top of ads.

Samsung Browser. It's not even a competition for me

Chromium Engine
Synced bookmarks with Chrome AND Firefox
Ad blockers
Tracker blockers
Night mode
Scroll to top button
Pop up Player

Which Ad Blocker do you use and why do you prefer it?
Where do I find SCROLL TO TOP BUTTON and POP UP PLAYER?

You can use multiple ad blockers at the same time. Up to five.
Just scroll, then you can see a little up button at the bottom.
Just swipe diagonally.

I use the Samsung browser. I like the speed, secure browsing, ad blocking and privacy.

Another reason Samsung browser is great is Samsung Pass. Logging into websites and making / verifing payments with iris scan is awesome.

Personally I use the Samsung browser, switched to it originally for ad block, have stuck with it since.

Same here. Chrome is better in terms of synching across devices but the Samsung browser has been a better experience overall.

I think it's just a matter of getting the Samsung browser up to speed with all my auto fill info and passwords and then I can use the Samsung browser exclusively.

I do like Samsung Internet, as well as Microsoft Edge and Opera (not mini and certainly not touch).

For me the most important feature is to be able to synchronize favorites (and other data if possible) between devices and to be able to read clearly any web sites.

So I switch quite often but I keep going back to Opera as it's the one for me that features a really good synch engine for favorites (and other things, but not passwords unfortunately, but with a password manager who cares now) and it also allow text reflow and this is the only one browser that I know that stille do this (text reflow is useful for sites that are not mobile compliant so there is large chunk of tiny text and you must scroll in every directions to read it, if you zoom into this text with opera : it will automatically reflow the text to adjust the width of the phone. This way it's super easy to read)

Edge was good but unfortunately it stopped syncing favorites between my devices and nothing I attempted to correct this has failed (anyway when it was working it was slow for something to be pushed from one device to another, with opera it's instantly in sync)

Samsung Internet, the only thing that bothers me is that sync is not done automatically (I must go into the browser extension to push the favorites on the PC to the Samsung clould...)
