Google complete my transaction after numerous refund attempt

So here is the situation. A purchase was accidentally made by my kids when i was not noticing. I immediately send a refund request to the google support team after realizing the faulty purchase . However my refund was rejected and it states that they could not process with my refund at this timing, please contact the apps developer instead for a refund ? It was then i decided to submit another refund request the next day and the support team is taking hours and not replying to my email at all. Later on i access to google play store ftc and saw that my transaction for the faulty purchase was completed. So does this mean the refund is invalid and charges was made to my credit card ?? Help pls

Re: Google complete my transaction after numerous refund attempt

The best, and hopefully most expeditious thing to do in this situation is to contact the app's developer directly. They have the ability to grant you a refund through their developer account on Google Play. Most app developers are fairly good at getting back to you about issues like this, as they obviously want to maintain a good reputation. Google really isn't going to be much help for you in this situation, and getting them personally involved will potentially cause unneeded delays and hassles for you and the app developer. It would be like calling the owner of a flea market to make a vendor you are standing in front of give you a refund for a candy bar you just accidentally bought. Yes, Google does provide a way for you to request a refund, but this system is not always foolproof and you may have not caught the purchase in time. Contact the app developer via email or web (their information is on Google play under the app's description), and all will soon be set straight if the app developer is honorable, which most like likely they are. :)
