Google Daydream headset shipped today 11/20

It's already in PA (Lewisberry near Harrisburg, only 2-3 hours from my house) but now says delivery Friday Dec 1st. (FedEx)

Mine showed up late in the day yesterday. Didn't even realize it , until I checked the tracking number this morning. It didn't come with the regular mail.

Got our notification yesterday with an estimated delivery of 11/30.

Has anyone had personal experience with a good aviation-related VR 'game' that I can get for my hubby?

Happy Gobble-Gobble Day!

We got notified that the delivery date was push out one day. The unit is in our town, but tracking still says it is going to take 5 business days to get to the house.

I think my hubby is more excited than I am.

<bump> Can anyone recommend a good aviation-related VR 'game'?

Crazy FedEx... The device was in our town on 11/26 (with an expected delivery four days later???) and then got sent to a city 100+ miles away to be put in the hands of USPS SmartPost only to have to come back here to be delivered.

I got mine on Saturday the 25th. The promo code for the free games is suppose to be sent within 24-48 hours. Still waiting. Guess I will need to send off an email.

Received mine yesterday and received my free game pack email with promo code almost instantly. Installed two of them but haven't had time to try them yet ...

I just got my Daydream. Is is the picture you see in the Daydream a little fuzzy? I cant seem to get the picture really clear.

You have to set up and register your Daydream first, and then you get the code. Just in case you hadn't yet.

I think it's a little fuzzy. Some say to wear your glasses. I wear readers and far, for driving sometimes, but haven't tried with the Daydream yet.

I got my email in my gmail account right after setting it up. It doesn't have an actual 'code' it just has a Reedeem button in the email. that links you to the Play Sore and cancels out the price when you go to install.

I did that, but thanks for the reply. I apparently did receive the email but it got lost in the numerous types of inbox folders gmail uses. I don't use gmail much if at all and wasn't aware there were other ways of accessing the inbox.

I used mine for a full day thinking the same thing. Then noticed I hadn't taking the blueish film glass protector off of the inside. :-\

But as eth555 has said, move the headset up and down and side to side to find the best clarity. Then you can re-center it once you get it right.

LOL Thanks for the heads up. Still had the blue film on mine.

I got mine yesterday. I guess I can't use a VR headset. I was playing with mine for about 30 minutes last night. I was nauseous for the rest of the night.

My buyer fell through after realizing it didn't work with his phone (even though I told him to check the website for the list), and he has no plans to upgrade yet.

Trying to sell it on Facebook Marketplace, but only 10 views in 4 days...this may take a while.

A couple of quick observations:

1. Don't be afraid to play with the straps to get the best fit and centered vision. I still need to do a bit more to get the best clarity for me - I don't think I'll be able to wear my glasses with the unit.
2. If you controller issues, check this website as it helped me: https://support.google.com/daydream/answer/7395955

UPDATE/QUESTION: I setup the Daydream View. How do I 'register' it to get the redemption code for the freebie apps?

... I should have just read what fasnic said above:
