Google Discover Finance, Sports & Weather widgets not showing

it works on my mums phone but not mine because she has weather showing my mum's phone is a redmi note 10

Hate to say factory reset it might not fix this , maybe try in safe mode?

i'm not going to bother and just wait until the next update but this is what happens

In Google Discover, I accidentally unchecked all the icons for weather, sports scores, and finance in the customization menu. I wasn't able to re-check them and after closing the menu, everything disappeared, including the "Customize" button. I've tried restarting my phone, updating the app, and clearing data, but nothing works. should show under search bar

how an earth I got rid of it and then get it back I will never know

safe mode doesn't work either

i don't want to factory reset phone anyway

might be getting a new phone in the near future anyway

Make sure syncing to your account is on maybe try signing out of your account then back in see what happens.

We have tried everything short of a factory reset, can wait like you suggested on an update let's see and report you made to goggle on this .

I'm not going to factory reset since I don't want to lose everything and I might be getting a new phone in the near future

i not really bothered anyway. if it comes back or not in the next update i still have sky sports app and bbc weather app

i think it doesn't show it on the old version before the latest update as well

You can also try a 3rd party launcher like Nova with Google companion app and see if you can get it working

It's just downloading the Nova launcher from play store and install the Google companion APK from the link , but if you don't want to try no worries.

do you have the google app on your phone and does it show it
