Google doesn't recognise my Note 9, meaning it won't log into my Google account

Done a smart switch from S7 to the Note 9 and when I try to log in via the google account it wont let me as it is trying to make me to go to the google settings app which I no longer have.

Google is recognising the device as the S7 not the Note 9.

Has anyone had any similar problems?

It keeps asking for a security code which I don't have access too.

My suggestion is to ring Samsung support.

How frustrating this is for you whilst trying to set up a new device.

Where did you get it from? New SIM or old?
