I wouldn't think it's Android exclusive. Why lock themselves out of lucrative markets? I'm sure some Windows and iOS users would want in. It's probably just out on Android first... which makes sense.

It's out for the PC. Got my little folder on my desktop. Works great.

As of now , you don't have to be invited for Drive.
