Google Duo has been integrated into Samsung phone app.

Strange issue, Google Duo is showing up with an update in the Play Store but I do not have it installed and can not find it listed in my apps. I do not use it and have no idea why I'm getting update notifications. Anybody else see this?

Figured it out. Samsung has integrated Google Duo into their own video calling app, so that's where the updates after coming from.

They incorporated Duo into their dialer app. Go to contacts, hit the one you want call, and you will see a video call icon.

Could you confirm that Duo can't be found as a separated app? Go to settings, tap the magnifying glass in the top bar, type 'Duo' and see what results you get.

This is from a OnePlus 7 and, as you said, things are different in Samsung phones.

It must be by manufacturer - on a Pixel, it shows as a separate app.

It is a separate app , but now since latest Android 10 on Samsung it's in the dialer and message app
