Google Earth behavior.

I installed Google Earth and it works odd. It doesn't seem to display the place labels consistently and panning is erratic. When I swipe the view North spins to one side or another. What's going on? GE doesn't behave like that on any desktop I've tried. If it means anything that Constellation app I've got behaves the same. It's so bad I don't like using it.
