Short multi tasking cards since update

Since the One UI 6 Android 14 update I've noticed short multi tasking cards and weird behavior. So when I go into multi tasking it looks like you see below which I don't care about so much, I'd prefer the arrangement I had before the update that killed Good Lock's Home Up app, but until that is fixed, if they fix it, what this screen looks like doesn't matter that much. The issue that is frustrating me is when I swipe up, I'm using gestures with no hints, it takes me back to the app I just left when it used to take me home. If I close the app I was just in and swipe up it will take me home but not if I just swipe. The odd thing is a week ago it was all back to normal, then without making any changes or even an update that I'm aware of it was normal for days and then reverted back just as sudden and oddly. When I look at the settings available from the multi tasking screen the only option is turning on/off Recommended apps, which is going to stay off in my case.

Are any of you seeing this or am I the fortunate one?

Have you tried using Good Lock again? It was updated recently. Go into the Home Up module and then into the task changer tab, you should be able to change it back to what you had before.

So I opened and closed the home up app in good lock and things are back to normal but thinking about it, this might have been what have me the time I had before when it was normal for a little while. We'll see how long it lasts. I wish they'd hurry up with fixing the other multi asking display options. Cards and grid just aren't cutting it.

Well today I opened it and it's back to being short again. So I went into the app to see at what point things reverted back to normal. First I just opened and closed the app, then went to the task changer settings and while opening and closing that I noticed an option for Mini mode. It was enabled so I disabled it and things went back to normal. I've never enabled it and I'm pretty sure I didn't disable it last time, but now I'm sure I have disabled it. I guess I just wait to see how long before it happens again.
