Google Hangouts update issue

My S3 downloaded the recent Google Hangouts update. If you view the Google Talk icon, it says it is now Hangouts. However, the interface is still Google Talk and it looks nothing like what I am seeing online. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a fix for it?

When I updated it, then ran it, my phone rebooted. Uninstalled it. Don't use it anyway.

Check for an update again. I did mine yesterday and the icon and format have changed to the new hangout layout
