Google Home questions

[Android Central Question]

I have 2 questions regarding the Google Home Mini we just bought. One, I keep asking it to play my playlist by name (OK Google, play my Steel Wheels Playlist on Spotify) and then if just responds with "Playing a Playlist based on your Spotify Playlist, the Steel Wheels." Is it true you need the paid subscription to play your actual music on the Home, even though you could do this on your phone no problem?

Two, I have my audio output set to my Bose Soundlink Revolve+. When we stream to the Bose directly, it's fine, and when we stream from the Home directly, it's also fine. When we send the stream from the Home to the Bose, it skips constantly. Any idea on why this would be? It isn't because of distance, because it happens even when they're next to each other.
