Allow me to control groups of lights without having to say light at the end of the group name.
For example I have a lamp with 2 Philips Hue bulbs in it... I created a group with these 2 bulbs called "Lamp". To control this group from Home I have to say, "Ok Google, turn on lamp light." Whereas I would rather be able to just say, "Ok Google, turn on lamp."
I know this sounds trivial... but when my family is used to saying, "Alexa, turn on the lamp"... and now with the Google Home they think it doesn't work or we have to repeat ourselves a lot because we didn't say" light" at the end... Gets very annoying.
"Hey Google, I have to pee..."
Actually there are quite a few apps that u can control ur phone over wifi lol. I can sit at my pc text and call.
Thoughts on multiple accounts. How will Google Home know who is who. Will you have to announce yourself. That would be awkward. I think this is more challenging than we may realize, to implement this so it's now awkward or cumbersome will be extremely challenging
Most couples are male and female, so, it could start with recognizing voices for males and females.
Or, one person could designate "OK, Google" and the other won could use "Hey, Google" etc... - This seems like the easiest way (so far).
For it to stop answering the woman in the Google Home commercial lol

Yeah I thought Google was supposed to be better about this but it seems like it's about the same as my Echo right now. I think they'll improve eventually though. The ability to request an action and phrasing it many ways.
"Make the lights in the hall red"
"Change the lights to red in the hall"
"Set the hall lights to red."
"I'd like the hall lights to be red please"
Right now these are defined strings. Google needs a match. It would be great if she actually understood the context.
Having to remember the specific way to request a function is not ai, it's scripted and limiting.
Yeah that's kind of annoying... I think they should make it an option to keep it listening after you say hey Google until u say thank you or that's it... Or after it does your request it ask is there anything else I can help you withI wish I could have an open conversation instead of having to say the hey google command. For example I want to walk into my room, tell it to turn the lights on, and start playing music and set an alarm. As of now I need to say hey google three times.
It should have a short period where it listens for a next request prior to taking action or know the AND word as a second set of commands.
