Google Home with the Samsung Calendar

I'm currently using the Lenovo Smart Display with Google Assistant, my Samsung Calendar is synced with my Google Calendar but does it work both ways? I usually run routines in the morning and night and it included the things I needed to do for the day, but I tried adding new things to my Samsung Calendar, but the Google calendar does not notice it (if that makes sense). Solutions?

How is the Samsung Calendar synced? Google Home/Assistant can only read off Google calendars or, if used in a phone, locally-saved events from other accounts.

If you added the event on the Samsung calendar, it either can't see it because it's only on Samsung account, or the way you sync events still hasn't copied that into your Google account.

It should work. Be sure your event isn't set as ALL DAY. For some crazy reason Google can't "see" all day events with the Google Home devices. I learned that the hard way and had to reset all my events that weren't timed, to times (even tho they weren't timed events). If this is the case, give GH a minute or two to catch up before you try it.
