Google Homepage in Other Languages

Does anyone have any idea why my Google homepage on my Sprint HTC Hero (stock ROM) defaults to other languages when I first open it? I'm always signed in and often get Google Spain or Google China. I simply have to click "Google in English" to fix it but I'm curious to know if others have experienced this or know why it happens.

mine does this too, I just went to preferences and picked English and it stuck.

I did this, but after some time it (google) started popping up back in other languages as well. Just is a small inconveince, but a inconveinence none the less

My thoughts exactly. Not a big deal, but a quirk I've noted and wondered if others have as well.
