I can't use OK Google to set appointments or do searches, or much of anything.

Anyone else seeing this?

Are you connected to the web via wi-fi or mobile data?

And is this only if you're saying "OK Google," or even if you're typing in your searches in the Google search bar?

My phone does not like my LG Tone headset. The only command it recognizes is "Call <contact>". I guess I will have to buy a newer BT headset.

Only saying OK Google. Typing works fine.
I did some digging and I'm not alone. There are reports on Google's own support forums of this going on since mid January, across many different devices.

Just to be sure, open Google Now, tap Menu>Settings>Voice. Is Bluetooth Headset switched on?

Hmm. Any other Google services glitching, like Gmail, Google Play Store, etc.?

Running out of ideas.:-\ Have you cleared the Google app's cache and data?

I've been having this problem too. Can't set reminders, get the Google services unavailable error, but I can find the closest pizza joint. Good WiFi signal and good Internet connection. Frustrating but I think it's beyond LG, my wife's Note 4 has been having similar issues, and at other locations not just here at home.
