Google Keep Widget won't add to home screen

[Android Central Question]

On Huawei p20 the Google Keep widget will not add onto the home screen.
It worked up until today, now it's disappeared and I cannot add it back on. I can drag the widget to the screen but when I let go, it just disappears.

Same exact problem with latest update to Oreo on my Huawei P8 lite 2017 (PRA-LX1). I belive is a problem of the drawer/launcher/whateverIsCalled. I am trying uninstalling and reinstalling google keep or deleting cache and data but does not seem to work. Have you find a solution for that?

im having the same issue with google keep, i can drag de widget but it just wont stay. the app itself works fine, its the widget that wont work. did you guys find a solution for this? im with huawei p20

Hey guys, same one here... Xiaomi Redmi 3X. All latest system updates; reinstalling and cleaning cache of Google Keep didn't help.
Please fix it, Google ^^]

yup... same here. tried reinstalling, force stop, wipe cache. i am using honor view 10.

Hi,
on my Honor 9 I had similar issue.
I tried to uninstall current version and install older one google-keep-5-0-251-04-40 from June 28th. Now I am able to place widget on my screen again.
I hope there will be new-fixed-version of Keep from Google Play soon.

Same here.. Samsung S9 Plus on T-Mobile.. One day Google Keep Widget just disappeared. Try to put widget back but it won't stay. Just goes up and disappeared. I have rebooted the phone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Keep with no luck.

The App works when opening with icom, but Widget is not working! Any suggestions?
