Hi I am located in Montreal and we use both French and English.

Wanted to know is it possible to have both languages simultaneously on Google keyboard like SwiftKey does without having to switch every time I want to type in French or English.

Thank you

Hi, no it's not possible and the only way is to press that language button to switch from different languages.

I too am in Montreal and was looking for an answer. I found this answer on an older post. It works.
"Settings -> Language & input -> Google Keyboard -> Languages. Turn off "Use system language" and instead turn on whatever languages you want. Let's say English (US), Italian, and French.

Hit the back button and tap Text correction -> Add-on dictionaries. Scroll down to French and Italian and tap to Install.

Now open an app which uses the keyboard (email or whatever). Tap the World icon to the left of the spacebar to rotate through your available languages, or long-press the same icon (or the spacebar) to pop up a selection box"
Bonne Chance

One long work around is using the translate feature in the keyboard, "l ike sorte"..

Lorsque vous sélectionnez le texte que vous voulez traduire, puis sélectionnez la langue...

Aah, how's my French? Lol

Hey,

You can download the Blackberry virtual keyboard and install. No hacks or routing required. just need the APK. You can probably find a link in the forums there. I think it should work (BlackBerry 10 could do it, I'm assuming the same with their Android App).

Good luck!
