Google keyboard personal dictionary not working.

Anyone notice their personal keyboard dictionary not working. So when you create shortcut eg re for Regards. The only way I can get it to work is uninstall the update then re install but after a while stops working again.

Yeah I noticed mine only works for a few days. It's a bug I've reported to them. Hopefully they fix it soon.

The problem appears to be specific to the Google keyboard. I use SwiftKey and don't see a problem.

I was using Swiftkey primarily for years but since getting the Pixel 2XL have tried a few other keyboards. I think Google's swiping accuracy is the best bar none, with Chrooma not far behind. Swiftkey has kind of fallen back for some reasons. Other things in Swiftkey are great like having your email address ready when you are inputting in a field.
