Have you performed a factory reset? If not, give that a try and see if it fixes the problem. Be sure to backup your data and sync accounts before hand.I got Nexus 4 with lollipop. I have tried different keyboard themes, cleared cache and data, restarted my phone. But it still types some of the letters wrong. I have also uninstalled keyboards as well.

Sorry for the late response. Yes, the current OS will still be installed if you factory reset. The only thing that changes is that everything on the device (except SD Card) will erase and you'll need to restore. You can select backup/restore from system settings > backup, which will allow backup certain parts of the device with Google. This will make restoring easier when you log back into the device after the reset. Text, calls and other parts of the device will need to be backed up separately. If you do a hard factory reset will the phone restart with the latest OS installed ie: lollipop?
I seem to recall when I did this with my N7 to give to my wife I had the option of reinstalling apps from google is this automatic and will the data and settings be updated?
