use AOSP keyboard. its the same except swipe (i think). But has only 14MB instead of 60+MB compare to Google keyboard.

I'm using the stock keyboard and it is showing 22.47MB at the moment. Android uses memory efficiently and will shut down/suppress non essential apps if something needs more available memory. I wouldn't be too concerned.

Wonder why yours is so much lower?

I don't worry about available memory just battery usage. More memory, more juice used.

Not really. More juice used if it is actively doing something. Otherwise, it is just sitting in the background waiting until it is summoned.

Yeah, this is completely meaningless to the performance or battery life of your phone.

It's probably all the things that Google Keyboard comes with, such as text to speech, personal dictionary, emoji, etc. It can take up as much memory as possible but it's still not affecting the battery. As patruns said, it just lurks in hiding until you summon it from the netherworld. Then you can type your heart out.
