Google maps app crashing after pressing "walk" option.

Every time after selecting a destination and pressing the "walk" button in google maps, the app crashes. "Car" button works normally. Any tip how to fix it please?

What, every five steps, Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop? What a joke!

How about bringing back the classic maps!
