Google Maps Directions Not Vibrating Anymore

Has anyone noticed this after the latest Android Wear update (or Google Maps, not sure which 'killed it')? Before, if I was navigating on Google Maps, the watch would vibrate when an upcoming turn or direction was coming up, but now it only does so if I explicitly open Google Maps on the watch and have it running there in the background.

yep and I still do searches to see if anyone has fixed it. appears to be google that screwed it up intentionally or unintentionally
