Google Maps Issues

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with Google maps showing the wrong location?

I've had this happen to me a few times lately. Tried using waze instead and it worked just fine.

Sometimes if you don't have WiFi scanning on the location will be off by a bit.

When you open Maps, do you hit the white button on the right side? (Looks like the GPS icon). That should update your location

I tried using my GPS today and had previously gone to this particular address a few weeks ago. The route was different than a few weeks ago. I chose to attempt to go by memory and was doing pretty good until I got onto the backed up highway. I exited the highway and allowed the GPS to direct me. I was repeatedly directed to turn on to a trail. This quiet, non-motorized, paved trail is for walkers, hikers, bicyclists, rollerbladers, horses, dog walkers, and is wheelchair accessible. I began to follow a wild goose chase. Fortunately I arrived at my destination after about 2 hours back tracking and dead ends. Is there an update for the google maps available?:''(

Do you have on device GPS enabled?

If you are using WiFi only for location, it can be wildly inaccurate.

There's clearly some kind of issue. I know many having same issue in NY area.
