Google Maps Navigation Starts Itself Back Up

Can someone test this? It's happened a few times already.

While Out driving

- Set a destination
- Drive for a while
- Hit back button few times to stop navigating, and exit maps all together
- Keep Driving....few miles / minutes....maps suddenly pops back up by itself and starts navigating to that destination.

This has to be something with the ram management, like it's accessing maps and loading it back up?
It's not a quirk...it's happening alot.

Anyone able to duplicate?

Omg. This literally just happened to me. I literally just walked in the door and 5 miles from my house I backed out of app like always like you described and it popped back on and restarted.

lol..glad I'm not the only one....i cant believe this damn phone...it's buggy as hell...i hope they update it soon, or i think it's going back...i rocked a moto x and honor 5x while waiting for (this) something good to come out over the last year...i'll say both those phones at $400 / $200, while slower (not by much on the moto x) didn't have a single issue.
This is kinda sad for a 900 dollar phone..

That has happened on several previous phones of mine so it is not the note7 causes it.

What phones? I've had MXPE, Honor5x, Nexus 6P in the last few months. Never had that happen before.
