Google maps public transport gps on LG G3 does not point in the right direction

I use Google maps public transport to get around and the arrow in the public transport section on the gps does not point in the right direction or it moves around alot. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Perhaps the GPS Status & Toolbox app from the Play Store would help.

...Assuming you can FIND the Play Store. Don't follow the arrow!
