google maps telling me how long to my desitnation

is there a way to turn that off. i don't do anything with it. it just randomly tells me how long to get to what ever.

being a truck driver. it picks locations in my area. that i'm at .

If you are talking about the annoying Google Now Card.

The one that continually tells you how far it is to everything you ever look up online or on Google Maps

Open Search/Google Now
Go to the bottom of the page
Tap the 3 dots
Tap Google Now
Turn off Traffic

looks like it was the google card. but there's no buttons at the bottom.

but if i go into settings. i can turn the google card off.
