I hate that my phone does this. My gps in google maps never goes straight. My evo would alwayd have the cursor always facing north(like a normal gps). Now depending on what direction of my travel thats what the cursor goes. Its so annoying and makes things confusing. Anyway to change this? I cant find a setting for it

I think to fix that you need to run the app, then in the top right hand corner is a complass looking thing. Click that once and it should change the orientation.
On my deivce that changes it from North always Up to what direction i am driving is always up. .

I my self prefer to have the direction i am driving facing UP.

I've never seen a GPS unit that didn't have both "north up" and "track up" modes.

My Evo 3d did that while using Navigation, was very irritating and I don't know why it started doing that. Either way, that problem went away when I got a real phone....

Does this happen only in Navigation mode? And yes, what version are you running? They should all be the same, must be just a setting somewhere.
