Will the Droid x from verizon let you use Google navigation at no cost like Sprint Evo 4G? Also does the UI let you load pictures directly to Facebook Like HTC Sense? and why do you have to pay for visual Voice mail on VZW instead of free like Sprint? I want to go back to VZW, but not sure yet.

Why wouldn't it? I'm not aware of any device that is forced to use Google Maps Nav for a fee. It's the app that is pay/free.

Because that's how VZW has set it up. Does the why really matter? Either you pay for it or you don't use it.
