On the google maps app on the Motorola Droid, is it possible to get voice turn by turn directions? Thanks

yes,Select the menu button. and then select get Directions. Enter you end point and select go. It will then come up with a list of directions. If you select Navigate, it will give you voice, turn by turn directions. Make sure your GPS is turned on as it is required for voice turn by turn directions.
