There are 2 versions of Maps and Maps Go. The field, minutes to destination, and time of arrival. The fonts in GO are larger than the same field in regular Maps. That field text is too small. Why aren't they the same?

Did you read the post? It refers to the field at the bottom of Maps regarding Minutes and time to arrival. The fields are the same size. Why aren't the fonts the same size in both. I read the play store article and it doesn't explain the difference in font size.

Maps Go runs with Chrome so fonts and other features are different.

Thanks for the explanation. I'll admit that I not an Android programer so I just don't understand why the same app has different fonts but at least I have an explanation. Thanks.

They are not the same app at all. They are completely different if you compare size, features and the way they work. Google Go apps are designed to use less resources and run quickly and smoothly on devices with limited memory.

For example, look the difference in size.
