I'm wondering if on iOS messages, there will be a toggle somewhere hidden in the settings that each user has to turn on manually to enable rcs. It wouldn't surprise me if Apple ends up doing this.

Don't forget they will probably also append some scare tactic message once you click said toggle "By enabling this feature your phone may no longer be protected and secure"

Or something like that. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised either.
