The problem with Android is it’s too fragmented.
The problem with Apple is it’s too exclusive.

Yes kinda , carrier are going with google RCS , Verizon im sure going join at some point .

Definitely a step in the right direction. I use Google messages on ATT, but would love to see RCS work with Samsung Messages.

Im using Google/Samsung collaboration app with rcs on my unlocked Note20U , i think Samsung standalone app will be gone soon

I guess the real reason I would like RCS working on the Samsung app is it has a native app for my Galaxy Watch, where the Google Messages app does not, but maybe that because I'm on an unlocked Z Fold2?

Ahh yeah good point, hopefully that will change on watches.
