I read that Google Messages is one of 6 apps that you can use on the front screen out of the box. You need to select it from Labs which is under Advanced Features in Settings.

You will have access to any app on front screen with use of Good Lock

To contend with the Razr+ why would Samsung limit the apps you can use in the cover and placed the function under multistar in Goodlock which is not even available in every country!?!?

True enough. People can download NiceLock if GoodLock isn't available in their country.

They probably don't consider Motorola genuine competition. That and most people don't do the research that we do in order to even know that this is a thing... They just see the large display and that is all.
