Since I received access to the Google Music beta, I've attached it to every Android device I've owned. Fascinate, Incredible 2, Xperia Play, Xoom, and Droid 3...they've all worked.

Now, with the Bionic, the app downloads, but it no longer gives me any options under settings. Just "shuffle" and "search". This is the only phone that has not let me add my music account.

Has anyone else encountered this, and is there a way around it?

I forget but I think there's a certain number of devices you can use Google Music with at a time.

it says the max is 8 devices, and under my devices, i had 6...so, i'm not sure why it's not recognizing my Bionic

the app seems to work fine on my phone

infact I had it connected to my car through bluetooth and was able to control the songs from my steering wheel buttons

Sure you have the right app. Because their are two music apps. One google music that which comes with android os and another google music on the market that support google music beta.

One has a speaker for its icon and shows as version 2.3.4

The other which is required for Google Music Beta service as headphones for its icon and shows as version 3.0.1.

It is very easy to mix them up.
