Curious, does Google Music streaming use data? May be a stupid questions but I have never used a streaming service.
 
Yes. All except for T-Mobile. For T-Mobile it only bypasses the "high speed" data.
 
That's not too bad, is it? To me, that sounds like a good thing.
I don't think it's bad. But you can also download Playlist and even radio stations while on wifi and use no data while playing those. I have a few GB of music downloaded and rarely have to stream anything.
 
For living in the middle of nowhere j think it's worth to pay the $10 a month and be able to download for offline viewing, then you don't require data
