Google Nav accuracy problems?

The problem has to be with Google maps itself not anything on the Evo's end. Every time I get the wrong directions I check on Google Earth and Google Maps on a desktop and it too has the wrong location. And as i said before, numerous times it'll even show me the wrong house or whatever in the street view but it will still show the correct address as if the house they're showing is the right one. I hate to do it but I might have to switch to Sprint nav again. Blah!

I think the problem happens when the addresses on the street count up and down oddly. I was going to a doctor's office the other day, and that address was 1418 but the rest of the road counted up from 300. So Navigation had me go two blocks past the office and in the middle of the street. Weird, non-sequential address numbers seem to be common in NJ.

I've had no issues otherwise.

Agrees - it's clearly not an EVO or GPS issue, as the same inaccuracy show up when you look for the same address on a PC. It's definitely a Google Maps issue.

I live in L.A. so I'm also of the expectation that they'll get the city right. I've had it fail a handful of times but it's accurate probably 19 times out of 20. I wonder if you're just hitting the ones they got wrong a lot. Maybe there's a way to contact google if they have their mapping address wrong?

Also, was that first pic of the jersey shore? And you're going by JerzyIroc? Dude...

IMHO its Google navigation I have had this same issue with Windows Mobile and Android on multiple devices.

While I love the interface of Google Maps it seems to be inaccurate at least 10% of the time. Here is a perfect example and was the latest mis-routing that Goole Navigation on the EVO took me. Go to Navigation and put your destination as "Casual Male Big & Tall, Boynton Beach . It will come back to a address on Congress, but Google will route you to a address a mile away

Lol ya it's the Jersey Shore... I love Jersey and I love my old Iroc. A Puerto Rican/Italian from Jersey with an Iroc... Damn.. didn't realize I was such a stereotype lol.
