I'm having problems using google navigation with listening to my music using either the stock HTC music application and power amp. When I listen to either of them through Bluetooth you can't hear the google navigation directions, I have the volume all the way up. Does anyone have any clues?

Note: it works fine if I use google music though

This is a problem that was introduced in gingerbread. Google changed the way apps are supposed to react to the navigation instructions. Unfortunately, most developers haven't updated their apps yet to be compliant. The stock Android music player and Pandora work fine, but just about every other media player causes the problem you describe. It's very annoying.

I have this problem occasionally, using Google Music & Navigation. I would venture a guess that somewhere between 25 and 50 percent of the time, I can't hear the navigation directions. During the trip it will mostly be fine, but sometimes it will cut out the music like it's supposed to but the nav audio is too low to make out.

The same thing happens to me all the time. I use a aux line in my car and I can hear the Music or Podcast fine but when the navigation kicks on its just a very faint whisper telling me where to go. Kind of creepy.

Yeah, however the only music application that send to work ok its the google music, even the HTC music application seems to have this issue.
