Google Navigation crashing after JB update

When using Google Navigation the map screen flickers as I'm moving and then eventually crashes. After crashing Nav remains in the task bar and I can open it back up to where I was and the process repeats.

I did a factory reset and it did not solve the problem.

I deleted Maps and reloaded.

For some reason when I open Google Navigation it says it's in beta.

Anybody else have this problem?

Well 30 minutes after my post Maps just got an update for "bug fixes". Hopefully this fixes the issue!

Well the update did not fix it.

I'm having all kinds of issues with Maps and Navigation after the update.

Anybody else?

I've been using mine today to get to a dentists appointment which was a three hour drive from my house. This is the first time i've used google navigator instead of verizon navigator to get directions somewhere. It's been working great for me. SO much better than the VZW Navigator. The directions voice is clear and understandable. It gives me several routes to take and is very accurate. It's foolproof.
I got my Jellybean update the day it rolled out and haven't had any problems at all. My phone is pretty much stock (except for all my 3rd party apps, music and such). I did not do a factory reset or anything and it went smooth as can be.
I'm actually very very impressed with google navigator. I will use it instead of the crappy VZW one from now on.
Sorry to hear that your having trouble with it. Have you tried contacting google about it?

Yes, same thing for me: Navigation keeps crashing. The program ran like a champ with ICS, but since the JB roll-out on the S3 with AT&T, the program will allow me to type in a search address, display the first one or two way points, but will then freeze and shut down if I try to go any further. Additionally, and I don't know if this is an issue with my 2010 Ford F-150 SYNC blue-tooth signal, but since the JB upgrade, the voice navigator only works sporadically with my speakers in my truck. Meaning, sometimes the navigator voice will call out my destination/way point via the radio speakers, sometimes via the speaker on just the phone, or sometimes not at all. Frustrating. :(

Just used mine for the first time (s) since JB, this weekend; it is a fail. Had all kinds of problems. Worked like a charm before; used it a lot; worked much better than VZW Navigator. Now, I don't know what to do with it...can anybody help? :(

I have been having problems with mine too, ever since the JB update. Sucks because that's the only navigation I have. I am not paying Verizon for their VZW service when there are free options out there.
