Can anyone help? After the 4.2 for my Google Galaxy Nexus (from play store), Maps works fine but when I launch Navigation, it stalls at the "Waiting for location" dialogue and then closes back to Maps. I've tried rebooting, force closing and clearing the cache but nothing works. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

Strange. So even though I had enabled everything in the Locations Services Settings, when I fired up Google Now, it took me to yet another screen with a toggle for location services. After I turned that on, which enabled Google Now, Google Navigation works like a charm. Well, hope this helps someone out there with a similar problem!

Ok I have a different problem I am delaying doing the 4.2 update due to all the reported problems but will succumb no doubt. Was initially impressed with Navigation and the mapping and position work well but the man stops talking to me after 3 miles. Almost exactly 3 miles no matter where I go. Get great instructions then he goes dumb and at the point where one may expect him to speak there is just Bong sound as if its something like mail arriving which it is not. Anyone got any ideas. please.

Thanks. That fixed it for me! It has been driving me nuts for the past day since it updated and I wanted to use the GPS.
Shows how often I use Google Now!

I would try to clear the data on the app and if that failed uninstall and reinstall
