Google Nexus 10 Tablet - Ctrl X in Chrome Issue

When using my external keyboard whilst editing in Wordpress (see previous thread), when I highlight text and do 'ctrl X', an error message pops up.

Unfortunately Chrome has stopped. 'Report' or 'OK'.

The thing is, after clicking OK I can go back into Chrome as it hasn't stop working, but this oddity is preventing me from cutting and pasting using the external keyboard.

Any clues?
