I just opened a link to a Tumblr post on my Nexus 5. It was a post with sound, so it played automatically.
But, something strange happened. I tried to turn down the volume (since right now it's nearly midnight) but I couldn't.

It has a phone icon, as you can see. I can't make it go any lower than that. I've tried going into Settings > Sound > Volumes, but it all seemed completely normal.
It's not a problem, and I'm sure that a reboot will fix it, I just find it strange.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

Yes, on a phone call yesterday. I had it on speakerphone and tried to lower the volume but it wouldn't go lower. It wasn't on the N5 though but a different lg phone. It's weird the volume wouldn't go down on an audio clip though.

I'm wondering if in some instances the volume just gets locked.

I tried turning down the volume, and if I kept going after the point shown in the screenshot, the phone enters vibrate mode. Press volume down one more time and it's on silent mode.

If you are still having the same issue a reboot should fix it.

Yeah, that's what usually happens, but it wouldn't go any lower than that. Really strange.

Yeah, a reboot fixed it. I tried to find a way to fix it without rebooting but I couldn't.
