Google Nexus 5 - What email app are you using on Nexus 5 Kitkat?

I happen to like most of the new improvements in 4.4's email (on my new Nexus 5). I've tried K9 and others on past devices and each had one issue or another I didn't prefer.

I guess my recommendation would be the stock app (admittedly I've had this phone for 2 days). In 4.4's email, its clean looking and fast, I'm not having any real issues (exchange 2010) EXCEPT.... there doesn't seem to be a "conversation" view that groups like messages together as it did on 4.2's email. This is infuriating as I'm part of 100, mulit-person emails conversations a day. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I use the stock email client (hotmail, work exchange, and gmail), and also the gmail app.

Found Zeus mail and I love it! Using it for IMAP right now. Have tried them all and this works great!

Are there any good email apps that also sync calendars? I keep having issues with the stock email app in 4.4, e.g., right now when a URL is embedded in a link (say from this forum), it is not hyperlinked so that I can simply press it and go to the web. I have to copy and paste the link into the browser, which is a pain. I don't recall changing any settings either so not sure why this is happening. I also have issues opening certain image types (e.g., tiff images) though this is likely not an email app issue but annoying none the less.

But overall I find the stock email and calendar app a far cry from what I was used to with the BB Q10. The BB OS 10 "hub" (the OS in general) was astonishingly efficient and useful. Too bad the hardware wasn't very good and the app selection stunk. But there must be better apps out there. I've tried Aquamail (The free version) and K9, both have decent email interfaces but do not seem to permit syncing of calendars.

I guess I could consider keeping the stock email app for my work email and calendar syncing purposes, then use one of these apps for actually viewing emails but not sure if that would reduce battery life at all. E.g., setup my work email on the stock 4.4 email app and have it sync calendars, then throw that app into the background and not use it but use something else to view all emails? Would doing this reduce battery life at all since now 2 email apps are both syncing the same emails?

Don't you also have a gmail account? Conversations are grouped in that.

Same here. E-mails are deleted from server even though its set to never delete from server. Very annoying. Also can not open pics in emails from any I-phones. My nexus S worked great till I had no audio. Got the Nexus 5, KitKat 4.4.2 and it's a major disappointment so far. Already did a factory reset for the 1st time in my life. Why should I have to download any app to make things work that worked before. I've now wasted about 24 hours of my time on line trying to resolve problems that should not exist. I see posts from august 2013 reporting these issues. Come on goggle let's get this resolved. Its 29 Mar 2014

I recently started trying CloudMagic. This might replace my longtime favorite, K-9 Mail.

Edit: CM has a great UI and super fast searching. However, to accomplish this, they store/index MY emails on THEIR servers. I was using this for my work Exchange acct, and there's all kinds of security/privacy concerns w/this. Not good, deleted app.

CM appears to be a great app, otherwise. If these concerns are low priority and you're OK w/CM's privacy policy, go for it.
