I'm not sure how it's been with nexus devices in the past but do you think there will be carrier bloatware on the different versions?

Yes. There will most likely be two versions. The "Pure Edition" from the Google store and the "Pure Android Experience" (Bloatware Edition!). That's what AT&T did for their subsidized Moto X2. Don't believe me? Go to their store page and see for yourself.
Key features include:
5.2” HD display
Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 801 quad-core processor
13MP camera with 4K capture
Pure Android™ experience
Moto voice control
LOL.
Google doesn't make "pure android", it only make "pure Google". Android itself is open source, while nexus is filled with Google proprietary apps.
I see little difference between apps pre-installed by Google and those pre-installed by another party.
Last I checked the Nexus phones weren't reskinned from the ground up. They have always been Android the way Google intended and comparing preinstalled apps from Google to the drastic overhauls you get with Samsung, LG, and others is ridiculous. Not to mention the whole "timely update" thing.

Same comments from this guy here and xda. Glad they made an account just to knock on the Nexus.
Lol, every os needs a face, Google put up a skin, everybody else does that too. There is no legit reason to suggest somehow everybody should love one skin over the other. You can have your opinion, but don't force on others.
Android is an open source project, if Google wants to completely turn it into its own proprietary os, that's fine, call it Google os, chrome os, or whatever. But as long as it remains an oss, there are differences.
What you guys are strongly favoring, is nexus, not pure android. That's pure and simple.
Last time i checked

What the hell are you even talking about? I'm comparing your statement about Google being guilty of bloating the Nexus phones just as badly as companies like Samsung, which is laughable, and you come back with that?
Maybe you should read up on the history of Android. It is an open source project run by Google and their version of it IS the pure version, however being open source companies like Samsung and LG can alter and skin it however they see fit. None of that changes the fact that the core code rolls out of Google's headquarters and they are the ones that make it what it is so the other companies even have something to alter.
If it wasn't open source than Samsung and the likes couldn't do what they do, but again, this doesn't change the fact that they are modifying Google's OS.
What world are you actually living in?
Posted from my Note 4, mind you.

I think he is talking about the Google apps that cannot be uninstalled. Stock AOSP has none of that.
On the most part, I agree with you. I was just trying to clarify.Possible, but that isn't at all what I got from what he said. I personally don't even consider AOSP to be "Android", but that is a discussion for another time in another thread.
The point I'm trying to make is that Google themselves release the OS as Lollipop, Kit Kat, Jellybean, etc, and then manufacturers like Samsung take it and fill it with a ton of other crap. Based purely on that concept alone, the version of Android that comes on Nexus devices is very much "pure". Once Google puts out a new version the features of that version are merged into AOSP and can then be utilized by others, which again points to the concept of Google's release being "pure".
