Google Nexus 6 Where's the cases?

Hopefully not off topic but does anyone use a tempered glass screen protector, and if so which did you order. I really would like one because got little kids and they play with my phone quite often.

I've been googling regularly for then but haven't seen any pop up yet for nexus 6. For the nexus 5, I've been delighted with the Nillkin product - works and feels great at a great price.

the problem is that none of these cases (or screen protectors for that matter) seem like they'll be in stock by the time the phone launches. this is a problem. it's always a problem, but stupid me for thinking that since there's a nexus for all 4 carriers that will actually be available at the carriers and that has been leaked to death for months some of these guys would get their act together and actually have product available for launch. you know, like they do for apple phones. seidio doesn't even have nexus 6 listed on their site

I'd be very surprised if the Play store doesn't have cases available for order, and delivery, with your Nexus 6. Same for other sources at such time as the phone becomes available from them.

As to screen protectors, it's not quite as critical as it will have the shipping screen protector (which on the Nexus 5, despite saying "Nexus 5" across the middle, was actually quite good) - but there is at least one listed that will be available in advance

I'd be hesitant to get a case with a 'clear' back to it. They're nice for showing the logo, etc, but a clear shell will show scratches much more than an opaque one. And with a rounded back, I'd expect it to be even more likely to get scratches along the central 'spine' area of contact.
At $6.99, buy two and swap out if/when it gets scratched. I really dislike cases, but considering a clear one until I get used to the size of the N6.

I don't use casing on my phones cause I bought the phone color that I wanted? But a tactical casing is always awesome to have :D

I bought a wallet case for my Nexus 5 on Amazon by Cellto for about $7. I live in Chicago and having room to put my CTA card in my phone comes in handy. I preordered a wallet case made by Abacus24-7 for $9 which is similar albeit a different material but it will do.

I like the Abacus cases but the plastic that holds the phone in place is cheap and may break off easily. I had a Nexus 4 wallet case with them that was great. I dropped it several times and the plastic only chipped off a bit. Then I purchased another one for my Moto G and the plastic on it broke just from dropping it on the carpet. The faux leather on the cases is okay, more like leather paper but they are nice, really.. the card holders are well built and the stitching is pretty good. I had one for over a year and it held up very well (the stitching will start come loose). But for the price they are awesome if you take care of your device.

I am planning to get a case and a Flygrip. For those who don't know what it is, it is a clip that will attach to any case, allowing you to use even a phone as big as this one handed. It also gives you a nice kickstand for viewing media. (I use one now). If interested, here is the link:

My question involves cases that are available for the N6. Since I am a Qi user, I will need to take the phone out of the case nightly for charging. Does anyone have a nice case to recommend that is easy to take on/off (many are a struggle).

TIA!

I had seen the Flygrip and considered it, but would be concerned it might not adhere well to a curved surface. Have to wait and see, i suppose.

As to Qi, again, no way to know till you try it, but the Nexus 5 works fine for Qi charging for me in a Spigen UltraFit case.

It SHOULD adhere to the curved surface, as it historically has for other curved phones. However, with the case AND the Flygrip on, you'll need to take it out of the case for Qi Charging.

Hence, I an looking for a good N6 case that is easy to remove/replace.
