Nexus 6P
Android OTA update to 7.1.1
Security Patch Level March 5, 2017
Build N4F26T

Immediately after the update:

1) Slow, slow, slow to open apps and slow to respond. Google Maps, Camera, text messaging, FB are all SLOW!

2) Cannot connect to Windows 8.1 by USB. Using the short USB A to C cable supplied with phone I can no longer (since updating to 7.1.1) connect to the phone for MTP or even PTP.

3) Battery life seems much shorter. I don't have any solid evidence of this, because I wasn't anticipating this and therefore didn't set a benchmark before the update, but it seems much shorter than it was previously. I have always been satisfied with battery life on this phone till now.

Needless to say, I'm very angry that this update installed itself.

Edit: I happen to have the Verizon build; yours is the latest non-Verizon build.
Also strange - I've never had an update install itself without my permission (on the Nexus anyway).

Anyway, try the usual:
1. Clear the application caches (Settings -> Storage -> select 'Cached data')
2. Clear the system cache (you have to reboot into Recovery mode for this)
3. If all else fails, perform a Factory Reset
4. If that doesn't help reload the full firmware build

Definitely feeling the slowness. Clicking on folders on home screen with 4 apps in them is laggy to respond and stays grayed out for longer than I was used to before this March update.

However, my phone has not been dieing at 30% battery since the update, it can now get down to sub-10% before croaking which I guess is a good thing. No thoughts yet on how long battery is lasting however.
