Google Nexus 7 (2013) Mysterious 1013 and battery drain

It appears to be related to audio files ( though I have no music on my Nexus, just games and films) and really drained the battery, bringing mediaserver back up to 60 %. I initially had problems with mediaserver which was sorted out with help on the forum. Ever since that experience I try to monitor my nexus, installed Easy Battery Server set to Intelligent Power Mode, use System Panel Lite to turn off running apps. Location services are turned off, screen brightness dimmed, yet Wakelock detector showed this 1013 had been on for over 20 hours and awake at 50%,even though I had turned off the device. I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle , even when I charged the device before this 1013 issue, my actual screen time average is only about 4 hours and 30 minutes before charging.
