For $399, I hope that the base model has 32gb storage, but I feel that won't be the case.
The Nexus 10 was $399 for 16GB and $499 for the 32GB. Hard to say what effect a slightly smaller screen will have on the marketing price point, but I wouldn't be surprised to see $399 for a base 32GB.
And, an SD card slot is useless if you can't apps to it. I haven't heard/seen anything about L bringing support for the SD card back.
Not useless for me. The 16GB on board is more than enough for all the apps I want to install... and all my media files can go on the SD card.
16Gb WiFi is $429 via google play site..
