Google Nexus 9 Nov 3rd. $399 ?

Re: Nov 3rd. $399 ?

I think the Nvidia Shield tablet might be what I end up with if the N9 fails to impress.

Re: Nov 3rd. $399 ?

For $399, I hope that the base model has 32gb storage, but I feel that won't be the case.

The Nexus 10 was $399 for 16GB and $499 for the 32GB. Hard to say what effect a slightly smaller screen will have on the marketing price point, but I wouldn't be surprised to see $399 for a base 32GB.

Now I can deal with that... I really have to get the 32gb version at the least.

Re: Nov 3rd. $399 ?

Hope that's true... I have no problem with a 16GB model if it comes with expandable storage.

Re: Nov 3rd. $399 ?

Yeah, I can see getting a 16gb version provided we can expand the storage via mem card. It's hard justifying paying an extra 100.00 for the 32gb model.

Re: Nov 3rd. $399 ?

Would have preferred it come with 32gb standard. I don't really use SD cards after having nightmares on previous devices with content being unrecoverable. Of course that could happen with on-board, NAND flash storage, but they seem to be more reliable to me.

But I'll be getting the tablet anyway. Just have to deal with 16gb.

Re: Nov 3rd. $399 ?

And, an SD card slot is useless if you can't apps to it. I haven't heard/seen anything about L bringing support for the SD card back.

Not useless for me. The 16GB on board is more than enough for all the apps I want to install... and all my media files can go on the SD card.

I agree. I can probably live with 16gb if I can put all of my media on an SD card.

I would want the 32gb version to replace my Nexus 7 2012 32gb tablet.
I think im going to wait and see . I want to hear some user feedback before taking the plunge.
Besides my Nexus 7 is still in mint condition and works perfect.

Also the Nexus 7 2012 is getting Android L. So less reason to hurry my upgrade.
