Google Notification Sounds

On Samsung S7 Edge can someone please tell me how to stop Google notification sounds??

It drives me crazy! Horrible sound. Nothing in Settings that I can see. Nothing in Sounds menu.

have you tried going into "sound and vibration" in settings then notification sounds and set default notification sound to silent?

Do you know which specific app is sending them? Do you have Now cards enabled? If so, open the Google app, open the side menu (swipe in from the left edge or tap on hamburger icon top left) - settings - Now cards - switch notifications off.

Another possibility is Google+ if you use it. In this case you can change the notifications in your profile.
