Last look, I had one Google now card with news, I usually have at least a dozen. Also, I clicked on more and it did what it normally does and loaded more articles, but when I click on them, they don't open, it does nothing. The one thing different today is I updated android system Web view. Is this the problem? Anyone know a fix? I did try uninstalling updates to Web view, I have no idea if it would even be the problem.

Of coarse, right after deciding to create this thread, it fixed itself. Sorry for the unnecessary rant.

I actually don't think you're going crazy. Ever since I got the Marshmallow update my Google cards come and go. About half the time I have zero cards.

I think you press the G in the bottom center to access the google now cards...

I had a very similar problem . Since that's my favorite features, it made me mad. After trying pretty much everything on the internet , I decided to uninstall Google Launcher and reinstalled a different version of launcher. Then I followed the instructions, which included tapping the Google search from my home page, or lock screen, and pushing the G next to the search bar and voila the cards came in from the left side like a book. Hope this helps.
