I often use "ok Google" voice commands but there are times I frequently use the swipe up on home button to launch Google Now.

Since update I swipe up but nothing launches? Am I missing something?

Holding down the home button brings it up for me. I'm also use to swiping up to bring up Google Now (coming from htc) because I haven't had a home button.

If you figure it out, I'm interested so I can reverse the solution and remove that swipe up function. I know disabling the Google app will make it stop, but then I also lose the voice dial function for hands free Bluetooth calling (not that the voice recognition is very accurate, but still...). It sounds like you can still use voice commands, so I doubt that's your issue.
